SACHEM Europe BV (Netherlands) Strategic & practical sparring partner for the SACHEM REACH team SACHEM Europe BV, like many other midsize companies with production in and outside Europe had to take up the challenge with a relatively limited number of resources to implement the complex REACH and CLP legislation in addition to many other compliance issues.

In 2009 & 2010, Jongerius Consult has been a strategic & practical sparring partner  for the SACHEM team (HSE & Business managers) to support them by the interpretation & implementation of the REACH & CLP obligations. Together with the team we worked amongst others on:

• Optimization of the product - material inventory in the form of a database to maintain the REACH relevant definitions and statuses to manage.
• Practical implementation of the EU site as Only Representative (OR) for the non EU production sites.
• Elaboration of a "substance volume tracking (SVT) project” to establish the relevant substance volumes and identify the REACH Registration requirements
• Organizing the SIEF Communications for one of the substances where SACHEM was appointed as Lead Registrant
• Practical support for the REACH Registrations 12/01/2010
• Establish REACH communication in the supply chain and via the corporate website
